TCM Constitutional Override
Algorithm scores NEVER override patient-reported adverse experience.
The Precedent
Gilli Dahoo — Summer birth, Fire excess constitution. Heat Therapy (Infrared Sauna) had an Octon Map score of 5.08 (very high match). Daily sauna caused pain and fatigue. Removed from protocol.
Mathematical resonance is not clinical safety.
Rule
Scan what_worse intake field before recommending any intervention. If the client has already tried something and it made them worse, remove it — regardless of Octon score.
Constitutional Factors
- Fire excess (summer birth) → heat-based interventions may worsen
- Cold deficiency → cold exposure may worsen
- Damp excess → hydrating interventions may worsen
